Went to work as a crew for the KPE phase 2 opening which was quite happening.

Basically its a walk/run event where Singapore wants to break a world record of most number of people in a tunnel or some crap -.-
Started off with me not sleeping cause really no point since i was home at 11 and i need to leave at 430 <- yes you saw it right, its 430! Took cab with 3 other friends to the meeting place which is tafu lance 3 or something and that place is so ulu that the cab uncle dunno the exact position and took severals turns here and there. Well we can claim cab fare so its alright ;]
Reach there saw some people, chat and stuffs and they told us to change to the event shirt -.- Then theres no point in asking us to wear red shirt in the first place. Anyways, blah blah and we were briefed on what to do and had lunch. I swear i didnt feel like eating. Maybe its too early or something. Then shortly after that, the crowd came...
I started off by pass each of those who register a lantern. Well, these lantern are special, they are dam cheapo oh well, this event is free anyways so what you expect =x Then some this weird auntie who gave us a mango said she cannot finish -.- who the heck will bring a mango to the walk anyway we left it somewhere and don't know where it disappeared to =x Blah Blah and stuffs...typical Singaporean style:
Auntie: eh, the lantern not fully round 1, i want to change.
Me: .... ok take this.
Auntie: this 1 also not round 1.
The thing is... the lanterns are contained in a box and they are like being squashed so cant help some parts of it being squashed or something...Dam aunties!
Just when i though this was what i was gonna do for the whole day, real hell arrived =x its the give-the-goodie-bag part.
I swear to you that i truly understand the level of kiasuism of Singaporean after this event, I swear!
It is still alright when the first few people arrived at the finish point and we passed them a goodie bag and a certificate. The middle part was the worst, where most of the people arrives. Its like worse than queuing for hello kitty. I kept seeing hands stretching out all wanting to snatch for the goodie bag and some uncle aunties like keep grabbing then some see le not very happy. Then some keep taking and others don't have a chance. Some even more power pack, stretch hand from under the fence and kope the goodie bag -.-
After the crowd slowly lessened, it was much better. Now i have a new theory for myself. Its either I be the first or the last. The middle ones are bound to die -.-
Anyways, there are still tons of goodie bags left after giving finish them all, so i see no point in snatching as if theres no tomorrow.
After that, we were brought out to debrief. Then we saw some 'car exhibition' or something. First showed motorbikes followed by some retro cars then the all-power-packed lamborghini. Saw alot of differet models. The converters had a loud engine which was awesome! I want 1 too =[
